Vines Where There Were Flowers

When I was a child, unless there was snow on the ground, my grandmother and I often used to take a bag lunch out to a small valley where we’d eat among the wildflowers.  Today that land is completely overrun by invasive vines so that you can’t even see the ground, much less sit among flowers to eat.
